Windmill Farm Railway, Burscough. A popular 15" gauge line at the Windmill Animal Farm. A half mile line with many steam and diesel locomotives.

Sharpo’s World. Could this be the largest photo gallery on the web ? If you can’t find a photo of a loco you like it probably has not been made yet.

Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway. Running between Embsay and Bolton Abbey through some beautiful Yorkshire Dales Countryside. There are tea rooms at both stations.

Leyland Society of Model Engineers. A link to this long established well know Society with excellent track facilities at Worden Park, Leyland.

Tony Griffiths well known Machine Archive. For the world's largest collection of machine-tool illustrations, descriptions and specifications for hundreds of different LATHES, MILLERS and SHAPERS.

Rochdale Society of Model & Experimental Engineers. Founded in 1932. With facilities for 3.5”-5” and 7.25”, this site is well worth a look.
