The Burnley and Pendle Miniature Railway Society is not a profit making organisation and the membership give freely of their time. All donations and revenue from paying passengers goes to improving, operating and maintaining the railway. The society wishes to extend it's gratitude to the following sponsers for their generosity.

 

Burnley Borough Council for providing the site, landscaping it and for their continuing help and support.
The Friends of Thompson and Queens Park for obtaining the grant to pay for rail and for paying for 75 tons of ballast. Also for their continuing support of our activities.
Burnley Air Cadets for the hard work during digging and barrowing soil during the construction of the extension. Bob and June Evans for the many hours spent digging, landscaping, planting, painting and general support.
Alan Middleton Engineering for providing the steel and fabricating the 5 section 100 foot girder bridge. The Society of St George, Burnley for providing the special paint to protect the Middleton Bridge from the elements and also for a contribution towards the cost of the concrete for the foundations.
Raab-Karcher, Colne Mr Brian Jackson MD kindly offered to pressure treat timber for the rail sleepers and other areas of construction. Marshalite, Elland for the supply of bricks and blocks used during construction.
Calico for the special paint for the three containers (2007) and also for sponsoring a new 8 foot passenger coach (2008). Howdens for the provision of kitchen cabinets, worktops and general timber and hardware products.
Salute, for their had work in helping the society dig the trackbed for the extension in 2012.
