During the winter months we have made changes to the trackwork in the shed area. The track from the turntable has been re-routed and now leads directly onto the make- up road. Two points have been installed to link the make-up roads to the outer main running line which negates the need to run around the entire track to reach the station although drivers must do so before passenger hauling. A new loading ramp has been installed of a much sturdier nature and can be highered and lowered by means of a hydraulic jack. We can now easily unload vehicles from low trailers to 4 x 4's.
