On Sunday 11th May, the Lions orgaised a 10 mile charity walk along the canal tow path, starting from the Accrington area and culminating in Thompson Park, Burnley. The event was very well attended and over 3000 people were in the park to enjoy the attractions which included a very fine barbeque. The trains were kept busy with many visitors experiencing their first visit to the park. Our photo shows a crowded train full of beautiful young ladies who entertained the crowds with their display of dancing.
